Jack Delaney
Jack
Delaney is an Associate at Ruddy Law. Prior to joining
Ruddy Law, Mr. Delaney worked in FINRA's Office of Fraud Detection
and Market Intelligence as a regulatory analyst. His work as
regulatory analyst included: performing reviews and investigations
into possible violations of FINRA rules and regulations; authoring
referral reports to the SEC and other regulatory bodies regarding
possible violations of the federal securities laws and FINRA rules;
and analyzing trading activity in equities instruments for
potential manipulative trading, violations of securities laws, and
abuses of anti-money laundering rules and regulations. As a legal
intern in the Division of Enforcement for the SEC Mr. Delaney
assisted trial attorneys in the investigations and trial
preparation for the federal district court and administrative
actions.
Mr. Delaney earned his Juris Doctor
from The Catholic University of America where he also earned his
Certificate in Securities and Corporate Law. During law school, he
was a Moot Court Associate and member of the Securities Law
National Moot Court Team. He also holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in commerce with a concentration in finance from the
University of Virginia. Mr. Delaney is currently licensed to
practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and his practice in the
District of Columbia is limited to proceedings before federal
courts and matters concerning federal agencies.
